We have an exciting opportunity to join our award winning Marketing Team as a Brand Marketing Executive. This role guarantees variety in day-to-day work and will support the Brand Marketing Manager in delivering an always on approach all aspects of Brand Marketing including Creative Development, Media, PR and Customer Insight.  

 

The Brand Marketing team work alongside the Shopper Marketing team and the Digital Marketing team in a cohesive collaborative environment so there will be ample opportunity to experience the very highest standards of work across all marketing channels.

 

The Woodie’s Marketing department has a strong track record having produced iconic work such as the much-loved Mrs Higgins Christmas campaign and as such will provide the successful candidate with an excellent opportunity to hone their craft.

 
 
 

The ideal candidate:

*       3 years + experience in a consumer marketing role, preferably within retail or FMCG sector.

*       Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.

*       A creative flair and a strong eye for design; the ideal candidate will be able to envision and articulate a creative direction when briefing external agencies.

*       A collaborative individual with a demonstrated ability to work as a team across our wider Marketing and Digital department, Commercial and HR teams.

*       Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the confidence to work cross functionally and with our external agencies.

*       Adaptable in a fast-paced environment with the ability to prioritise and plan their workflow efficiently.

*       A positive attitude and a ‘can-make-it-happen’ mindset.  

*       Experience producing tv or radio adverts is a plus but not essential as there will be in role training support

*       3rd level qualification in Marketing or Business.

 
 

Key Responsibilities:

        With the support of the Brand Marketing Manager manage and deliver all brand marketing creative to fuel the always on full channel marketing plan.
       Media and PR: Support the Brand Marketing Manager in delivering an always on-approach to media and PR.

       Support the Brand Marketing manager in developing a best-in-class creative direction and strategy for the Woodie’s Brand and Employer Brand.
o   Brief and manage creative and design agencies, ensuring clear direction and alignment to deadlines.
o   Lead the delivery of tactical creative assets (TV, Radio, Social).
o   Acting as a brand guardian across the team, ensuring consistency in our messaging and creative execution across channels.
       Manage an information cascade to the Marketing and Digital team to deliver consistency across the wider team’s activity and plans.
       Own and deliver key Brand projects including seasonal photoshoots, CSR initiatives such as our charity fundraiser & community charity sponsorships, and contribute to a cross-functional working group for the annual company recognition awards.
       Research: Manage the bi-annual brand tracker with external research agency, and support Brand Marketing Manager with adhoc research projects.
       Responsible for general Brand Marketing administration including budget management
